John Ziaukas has been a California lawyer in Los Angeles for over 20 years and began his legal career in New York City at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in 1985. He specializes in securities, commodities, and asset management law, providing cost-effective legal counsel meticulously tailored to the distinct needs of each client.

While at Willkie, he specialized in securities and commodities law, where his group’s clients included prominent international broker-dealers and FCMs, along with some of the largest and most successful hedge fund managers in the world.

Since 2002, Mr. Ziaukas has been a solo practitioner in Santa Monica and continues to focus on providing counsel to clients in the asset management industry, as well as to television writers, communications companies, tech start-ups, and HNW clients, among others.
